Leh Ladakh is a captivating region in northern India, known for its breathtaking landscapes, unique culture, and spiritual significance. Located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Leh is the administrative capital of Ladakh, which lies in the trans-Himalayan zone and is surrounded by towering mountain ranges like the Karakoram and the Zanskar range.

Ladakh is famous for its Buddhist monasteries (Gompas), which are spread across the region and are important pilgrimage sites. Some of the most significant monasteries include:

  1. Hemis Monastery: One of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh, Hemis is famous for its annual festival, the Hemis Tsechu, which celebrates the birth of Guru Padmasambhava.
  2. Thiksey Monastery: Known for its striking resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, Thiksey is a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist monastery with an impressive architecture and stunning views of the surrounding valleys.
  3. Shey Monastery: Once the summer capital of Ladakh, this monastery houses a giant statue of the Buddha and serves as an important historical and religious site.

Leh Ladakh is also renowned for its high-altitude lakes, such as the Pangong Lake and Tso Moriri, as well as its rugged terrain, making it a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts, trekkers, and cyclists.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Arrive at Leh (12000 Feet) | Rest for whole day to let your body take complete acclimatization
Day 02 Leh Local | Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magical Magnetic Hill, Sangam (confluence) of Zanskar and Indus River. Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame
Day 03 Leh Local | Monastery, Three idiot School, Shey Palace, local market. In these two days at Leh, Body gets acclimatized for the Height to go to next level
Day 4 Leh to Nubra Valley | After an early breakfast drive to beautiful Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World at 18,380 ft) and visit to Diskit monastery. The zig zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Hotel / Camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel rides. Overnight stay at Nubra
Day 5 Nubra To Pangong | After early breakfast, start our drive to Pangong lake via Thiksay monastery and Shay. Enjoy the turquoise colour panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave us awestruck. Spend our afternoon and enjoy the beauty of Pangong lake. Overnight Camp
Day 6 Pangong to Leh | After a morning walk around the lake, drive back to Leh through beautiful landscapes.
Day 7 As per time available for flight, will plan the day and leave for airport.
