Badrinath, the pre-eminent abode of Lord Vishnu, is one of the holiest of the holy shrines in India. The picturesque town of Badrinath is considered a place where divinity meets with the serenity of nature. Situated between Nar and Narayan peaks in the state of Uttarakhand, the pious land of Lord Vishnu is located on the right bank of the Alakananda river, at a height of 10,400 ft above sea level. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams in India and is located at a pleasant spot with the majestic hills and the meandering river.

Kedarnath is one of the most paramount locations for worshippers of Lord Shiva. Situated in a breathtaking location near the source of Mandakini River and at the height of 11,600 ft above sea level, Kedarnath Dham celebrates the greatness of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath temple is one of the 12 Jyothirlingams and is also the most important temple among the PanchKedars (group of 5 Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas). The journey till the great shrine of Lord Shiva is well compensated with the spiritual atmosphere which is created by the unruffled, tranquil and splendid beauty of the region with snowcapped mountains.
