Do Dham refers to the two sacred pilgrimage sites in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, namely Badrinath and Kedarnath. These are among the most revered shrines in Hinduism and form part of the renowned Char Dham Yatra.

  1. Badrinath: Located in the Chamoli district along the banks of the Alaknanda River, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Badrinath Temple, one of the 108 Divya Desams, is nestled between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges. Pilgrims visit this sacred shrine to seek blessings and witness the deity of Badrinarayan. The temple is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, with hot springs like Tapt Kund where devotees take a holy dip before entering the temple.
  2. Kedarnath: Situated in the Rudraprayag district at an altitude of 3,583 meters, Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The ancient Kedarnath Temple stands majestically against the backdrop of the Kedarnath peak. The temple holds immense spiritual significance, and pilgrims undertake a challenging trek or utilize helicopter services to reach this divine abode. The serene atmosphere and snow-clad peaks create a deeply spiritual ambiance.

The Do Dham Yatra is a profound spiritual journey that offers pilgrims an opportunity to seek divine blessings and experience the serenity of the majestic Himalayas.
